Moving Out

Today was one of the days that I’ve been dreading… moving out of my apartment. 2 years I’ve been on my own in my first big boy apartment. It has been everything I’ve dreamed and wanted since I was finishing nursing school.

Selling and moving my stuff has been hectic but the one thing that has inspired me from the whole process is the amount of help and support I’ve received from my family and friends. Thank you to everybody that took my furniture. Thank you for helping me move out. Thank you to my parents for coming back to help me move again and for cleaning my apartment. The willingness for people to go above and beyond just to help out has honestly floored me. An extra five bucks here, an extra ten there. Thank you for supporting me and my dreams.

I will say it again, I am truly blessed to have such genuine people in my life. Leaving them behind will be the hardest part about this new adventure. It just goes to show

If you treat people with love and respect, you’ll receive the kindest and most caring friends in return.
